Wednesday clubs – Holiday clubs
Bilingual mornings, with an English-speaking teacher and a French-speaking teacher.
During the mornings, the children are immersed in English, and have the opportunity to enjoy all the Montessori activities, in the presence of our educators who present the material.
The children also take part in a themed circle in English to reinforce their oral expression in the language (songs, stories, etc.).
After lunch, the children play in the playground and enjoy its play area.
In the early afternoon, a creative activity is organised according to the theme of the day. Then it’s time for a snack, either outside or in the canteen, depending on the weather. Time is also set aside outside for relaxation, weather permitting.
Finally, for those who stay after 4.30pm, there is time for indoor games such as kappla, construction, drawing, reading, etc.
Parents can collect their children either between 4.20pm and 4.30pm or between 6.20pm and 6.30pm.
Children’s theatre
A discovery of the practice of theatre and its benefits with a small group in a caring and collective construction.
Through fun, light-hearted and participatory games, children create stories together, while improving their individual skills.
From age 5 upwards.
One-and-a-half-hour workshops for older children on Mondays at 4.45pm-6.15pm and for younger children on Thursdays at 4.45pm-5.45pm, reserved for children attending school or the Wednesday club.
Yoga for children
Children discover yoga by learning postures named after animals.
Both fun and educational, they encourage awareness of breathing, flexibility, concentration, self-confidence and better sleep.
Practising yoga as a couple also strengthens your bond and mutual trust. A fun and dynamic practice, with stories and games to help parents and children enjoy a moment of relaxation.
Children’s workshops on Wednesdays: 3.15pm – 4.15pm
Musical awakening
Introduce children to the world of sound, instrumental gestures and musical language. Make the spatial link between sound, movement and the body. Open up memory reflexes and develop group creativity.
These essentially playful and poetic workshops meet a real need for mental development in young children; they take their first steps into the world of music and prepare for future learning.
The workshops are offered for 3 to 7 year-olds on Tuesdays from 4.45pm to 5.45pm.
Caring parenting workshops
Parents’ workshops are open to everyone. They take place on Tuesdays evenings from 4pm to 6.20pm and are designed to develop availability, listening skills and confidence. Their tools are real keys to calming and resolving everyday conflicts, by welcoming emotions with kindness.
The workshops – 7 in all – are divided into 2 modules:
The first module consists of 4 workshops to understand parent-child interactions, study how the brain works, learn to welcome emotions with kindness and show just authority.
The second module consists of 3 workshops dedicated to the pillars of self-esteem: self-confidence, self-image and self-love.
Availability
Training yourself to remain available and open at all times with your child, rather than over-reacting. It’s about knowing how to support your child in moments of frustration so that they can refocus.
Listening
Develop a genuine ability to listen to your child’s needs, exercise fair and benevolent authority and learn to recognise and develop your child’s potential.
Trust
Learn how to develop your own self-confidence and that of your child, and how to help them realise their full potential.
